Two worthy blogroll additions

The latest additions to the blogroll are well worth reading. Both Who Ate All the Bratwurst? and The Daily Header offer WC commentary leavened with a healthy dose of satire--a much needed angle in the tension-filled days leading up to the mundial itself. Check 'em out y'all.

No way, rat. I, at least, find your comments interesting, even if I disgree profoundly with many of them.

yeah well you have the advantage of knowing a lot more about US soccer than me. We gonna score a goal tonight?

No, we're going to score a shite-load of goals. Make up for that poor excuse for a game we played against Maroc.

However, in the reciprocal link in your blogroll did you mean to write "DH in Deutschland" as an homage to yourself or is that a typo?

oops, another damn typo to add to the list. I liked the Landon to Johnson to Dempsey hook up last night. And I found out Ching was Hawaiian. (Did I hear that right?) That mean, as a native Hawaiian myself, I must forgety about Taylor being dropped now support Ching, who did finish up nicely enough last night. Venezuela was a rather cynical lot of footballers, eh. Bit heavy on the boots. Strange. I hear they're quite fond of us in Venezuela.

True that Ching is native Hawaiian. They drop that bit of info only about twelve times during each telecast, not sure why the obsession. But he does appear in-form. Still not sure who should start up top with McB.

Too bad the shiteload of goals I imagined didn't materialize. Ven and Lat turned out to be sturdier opponents than I'd originally realized. Plus our finishing isn't exactly stellar these days.
